Our Story

The Viborg chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS), aka The Tri-Valley Barbershop Chorus, has been an active chapter of the society for over 60 years.

As a chorus, we perform an annual show at either Viborg or Centerville, depending on venue schedule from year to year. In addition, we perform at special community events as well as several religious services or other church gatherings throughout the year.

There are also 2 active quartets within our chorus, The All Nighters and Bro Squared. Please see our "Quartets" page for more information.

The BHS started as the "Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America" or SPEBSQSA in 1938.
